What Happens After You Contact Us
We’ve streamlined the intake process so you know exactly what to expect at every stage. Here’s what happens once you reach out.
We Reach Out
A care coordinator contacts you within one business day to discuss your child’s needs, answer your initial questions, and explain the intake process in plain language. There is absolutely no pressure or obligation.
Insurance Verification
Our billing team verifies your insurance benefits, handles prior authorization requests, and provides a transparent breakdown of any costs before services begin. We do the heavy lifting so you don’t have to.
Clinical Assessment
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst conducts a thorough assessment of your child, develops an individualized treatment plan with measurable goals, and matches your family with the ideal therapy team and schedule. Then sessions begin.
ABA Therapy Options That Fit Your Family
We understand that every family’s schedule is different. CareWorks ABA offers both center-based and in-home therapy options, with flexible morning, afternoon, and select evening time slots to accommodate school schedules and working parents.
During the intake process, we’ll work with you to identify the setting and schedule that best supports your child’s goals and your family’s routine. Whether your child thrives in the structured environment of our therapy centers or benefits from learning in the comfort of home, we design a plan that works.
Frequently Asked Questions About Contacting CareWorks ABA
We’ve answered the most common questions families ask when reaching out for the first time. If you don’t see your question below, don’t hesitate to call or submit the form above.
Our care coordinators respond to all intake inquiries within one business day, though most families hear back within a few hours during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM). If you need an immediate response, we encourage you to call the location nearest to you directly.
Having your child’s date of birth, your insurance information (carrier name, member ID, and group number), and any existing diagnostic reports or evaluations will help us move through the intake process faster. However, don’t let missing information prevent you from reaching out. Our team will guide you through gathering what’s needed step by step.
Most insurance carriers do require a formal autism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnosis from a qualified professional (such as a developmental pediatrician, psychologist, or neurologist) before they will authorize ABA therapy. If your child has not yet been diagnosed, contact us anyway. Our care coordinators can provide guidance on obtaining a diagnosis and connect you with evaluation resources in your area so there are no unnecessary delays.
Absolutely. We encourage families to visit our therapy centers before making any decisions. Tours give you the opportunity to see the treatment environment, meet members of the clinical team, ask questions face-to-face, and get a feel for the CareWorks culture. Call your nearest location to schedule a walk-through at a time that works for you.
Availability varies by location and the specific hours your family needs. Some centers and time slots may have immediate openings while others may have a short waitlist. We recommend reaching out as early as possible so we can begin the insurance verification process and place your child in the queue. Even if there is a brief wait, we use that time productively to complete assessments and build your child’s treatment plan so therapy starts at full speed once a spot opens.
All CareWorks ABA therapy centers are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. In-home therapy sessions may be available outside these hours based on therapist availability and your family’s needs. We do our best to accommodate school schedules and working parents when building session calendars. Contact your preferred location to discuss specific scheduling options.
